When Wix may be the right choice.

When professional development may fit better.
Hiring a professional makes sense when your time is needed elsewhere or you do not want to make all the design and implementation decisions. It can also help when the site needs a specific content structure: a contractor’s project stories, for example, or distinct routes for urgent repairs and planned installations.
You still need to explain your services and review the business details. The value is having someone turn that information into a finished website, handle the build and work through the agreed checks before launch.
Look for relevant examples, a clear description of deliverables and a realistic handoff. The label “professional” alone does not tell you whether copywriting, photography, SEO or maintenance is included.
Editing control and portability are different.
